Welcome to Sloppily Stain town. There are many streets with beautiful, stunning looking houses; however, when you come upon Little Miss Spill’s house, your jaw drops as fast as you can say “hey.” With many gorgeous houses, you would think the town would own a more appealing name, but there is one immense reason on why it has its name. It’s because of Little Miss Spill that the town has its disgusting name. If you ever come upon her house, you’ll definitely understand.

All of her carpet is polka-dotted with stains from cranberry juice, shampoo orange juice, spoiled milk, and everything else you can imagine. When you walk in, you get a huge wave of a mildew scent. It almost makes you force your eyes closed. On the other hand, Little Miss Spill believes that she lives in a magnificent home. She lives perfectly and says the scent freshens her house with personality.

One day, Little Miss Spill wandered around town and came upon a flier; it read “House Beauty Contest” in big bold letters. Without even looking at the time and date, she dashed all the way home. She began splashing Diet Coke all over her walls, pouring half a gallon of expired milk down each of her air vents, and then finally dumped a bucket of lemonade on her head. She knew whenever the judges came to her house, they would want to feel refreshed as well.

She grabbed the same bucket and filled it with lemonade again. She then placed it by the front door, so when the judges would come, she could splash them with it. She continued cleaning when, “ Ding Dong!” The doorbell rang and Little Miss Spill sprinted to the door and flung it open. It was the judges and she was thrilled. They professionally walked in in their suits and ties, and when they got the wave of stench they both jumped at the exact same time. But they didn’t know what was coming at them next.

Suddenly, a bucket of lemonade was thrashed at them.
“Ahhh!” They both screamed and again at the same time. The judges walked around for at the most a minute more and then announced immediately that she had placed dead last in the contest. They usually announce it a week later at a ceremony, but they knew no house could be more ugly and smelly than Little Miss Spills.
“Don’t even bother showing up at the ceremony,” one judge announced sternly.
“ This place is pitiful,” commented the other. Disgusted, the two judges stormed out of the house.
“Whaaaaa!” Little Miss Spill cried. “They are rude and mean!” she yelled angrily.

As she sat depressingly in her bedroom, she realized that everywhere she glanced there were stains. She suddenly knew why she had placed last. Her house was dreadfully smelly and completely dirty. Right away, she charged down the stairs and frantically searched for tools. She only found one mop out of her whole house and decided it just might work. But no, she gave up five minutes into really cleaning. She didn’t know how to clean and where to do it. Now water and soap filled her house and she just couldn’t stand it so she stormed out of her house miserably. The door slammed behind her with a racketing, deafening BOOM!

She started to stroll down Squeaky Clean lane when she ran into one of her friends, Mr. Clean It Up.
“Why are you so miserable and sad?” asked Mr. Clean It Up.
“I have a stinky, ugly house that I am not proud of and I always get mean, rude
comments about it,” she explained. “I tried cleaning my house but it just didn’t work!” Little Miss Spill screamed.
“Calm down,” Mr. Clean It Up reassured her. “I will help you,” he added with a grin.
“You will!” Little Miss Spill squealed excitedly.
Then they skipped happily down to Little Miss Mop’s store.

They bought everything they needed including; a broom, stain remover, more mops, two gallons of soap, and much more. Then they raced home to Little Miss Spill’s cottage and immediately started cleaning. Six complete hours later her house was mildew free and clean. She jumped for joy and hugged Mr. Clean It Up to death. She thanked him about a million times over a wonderful, scrumptious dinner at Little Miss Spill’s house. They actually ate on a clean table, sat on clean chairs, and were extremely proud of their work. As stuffed Mr. Clean It Up plodded out the door, she wondered what she did to deserve this amazing friend.

Little Miss Spill was actually, for once in her life, proud of her house. She liked the different aroma with all her unique stains, but loved the smell of her new air freshener. Her house always smelled of pure vanilla beans. Little Miss Spill decided that this was a much better way to live than in a disgusting cottage with stains. Suddenly, her doorbell rang. It was a cute little girl named Little Miss Sunshine. She complimented Little Miss Spill’s house and wanted to be her friend. She was now sure that this was the way to live, in a beautiful house getting compliments, and having a bunch of friends. People now look at her house and their jaw drops in amazement. It almost sparkles. So now whenever life gets hard, she remembers this day. You can do anything as long as you can try. Welcome to Turned Up Cup town.
